Driver's Awareness Training & Driver Safety Training

Applicants for New Driver Permits

Pursuant to Nevada Administrative Code 706.537 and706.537, all applicants for a driver’s permit must enroll in and successfully complete a defensive driving, driver orientation and safety course approved bythe Authority before being issued a driver’s permit.

Renewal of Driver Permit

All applicants for the renewal of a driver’s permit must enroll in and successfully complete an annual course on driver safety which has been approved by the Authority.
